Modifications affecting warranty?
 

Hi, I am thinking about buying the Stillen G3 Long Tube intakes and cat-back exhaust. I am also considering Stillen headers.

Does anyone know what affect these parts will have on my factory warranty? The more details the better. Thanks in advance!

Really depends on your dealer. The dealer where I purchased mine from is full of incompetent fools. Anything that strays from the norm they are scared of. The sales side will stroke you telling you they're cool, etc but once you get into service it's a different story. They asked why I would change my stock exhaust! LOL..... Needless to say I'll never go back to that dealer.

It is my understanding that they cannot deny your warranty simply due to mods to the vehicle. Opinions vary so you should read this yourself...

I would recommend going with the mods and keeping your stock pieces. If you run into any concerns down the line it will be a pain in the a$$ to put the stock pieces on but allow you to go to the dealer for engine warranty issues without them being the wiser.
