Default Tires under warranty?

Apparently I nicked a curb or something, VERY small light scuff on the rim but the tire has a tiny slit in it that is leaking air, front right. The tires are the originals that came with the car. Is this under warranty?

No, why would it be? You hit something and caused the damage.

Well, that's why I came here to ask, because I was unsure. You wouldn't believe the amount of things that are caused by user error that are still covered under warranty.

If I remember correctly, there may be some warranty from Bridgestone for manufacturer issues. There generally is a warranty on OEM tires for that kind of thing. Manufacturing issues very seldom turn up on tires, so most people aren't even aware of the warranty.

In your case, it's considered "road hazard", so no. Not covered.

Figured, and they're Yokohama's because its a NISMO, I think all other 370's come with Bridgestone's and the NISMO with Yoko's. Might be just time to replace. Good thing they're not the rear 295 Hankook's That would be expensive. 245's aren't an arm or a leg to replace.

Ah. Didn't pay attention to what model you had. Should only cost an arm and part of a foot.

Lol... Could get a pair of Hankook's for ~$300 and have them all the way around.
