Greetings,
I have lately been noticing a metal to metal clunk type sound on the rear of the vehicle, seems to be near the differential. It is more obvious during acceleration of the lower gears. I have bought my car to the dealer TWICE only to been told this is normal. I didn't have this noise earlier during the lifetime of the car, at least not as noticeable!. I have a friend with an 2003 350z witch does not exhibit this noise. The files included are m4a Audio taken from the iphone of me driving around on the parking lot in first gear. Turn up your speakers and the clunk is evident during some of the accelerations. If you have experienced something similar please help! Youtube Clip Last edited by GonGo; 12-27-2010 at 07:18 PM.
