Default OEM spark plugs life?

When should I change the OEM spark plugs? I was planning to do a compression test for the car, and think it might be a good time to change the plugs as well. Sorry for asking this, but I have a JDM-spec car and it didn't come with a maintenance guide.
BTW, the car has about 7K miles.

Thanks for the information on the spark plugs.

I had the car tested with the iPhone Dynolicious app and the acceleration was very disappointing (the app was pretty consistent with my other cars) . I'm also not the first owner of this car and found out the motor was driven with a quart of overfilled oil for a period of time. I just want to have it check out for a peace of mind.

Also, is there any symptom if the motor is running with low compression in one or more cylinders besides power loss? The car is running fine with little or no oil consumption. There're some tapping noises from the valvetrain but I don't know if that's common with the VQ37.

Tapping is pretty common. The VQ's are noisy engines. What oil you running? Besides the oil consumption and power loss I cant think of what else the car would do.

I'm running Castrol Edge synthetic oil (OEM Nissan Ester oil is very difficult to find here). The car doesn't have any problem with oil consumption though, but I might try to get it on a dyno first, just to see how the motor is doing.
