Tranny noise

Hey guys I have a 2010 Base. It has only 2500 miles on it. The transmission makes a lot of noise when the clutch is not engaged ( sitting at idle) is yours the same way? I dont really beat on the car or drop the clutch. Any advice is appreciated.

That's normal.

Tranny's always make weird noises when you bend them over and beat them. Oh, wait...nevermind.

Seems like i have the same issue as the OP but i have only 1300 miles. It sounds the same as when a throwout bearing goes bad, only thing is when that bearing goes bad it makes the noise when the pedal is engaged not disengaged. I am stumped.

I have the same issue as the OP also - I'm up to 1200 miles.

The way you know if this is a problem other than throw out barrings is simply listen to the car. By then you've heard the noise, now simply press the clutch in. If the noise goes away then said to say but it's normal. It drove me crazy when I had a 350z and now this car but it's nothing that's going to be eliminated unless u eliminate the car ;)
