Navigation Screen Scratched

Coming from my 350Z I was very impressed with the 370's interior upgrade. However it hasn't even been 2 weeks and the screen is scratched . I don't have long nails and even if I did, I don't see how a touch screen could scratch so easily. I am contemplating buying a new screen ($550) and putting a screen guard like on my my Apple Touch. I know none of this is covered by warranty. Any thoughts?

for me, it depends how how badly it is scratched or how much the scratch bothers me because even when the screen is perfect, the other parts of the car will suffer the effect of wear and tear unless you don't drive the car.

good point. It isn't too bad but Im pretty picky about even the smallest things.

it's kinda like the lexus slogan: the "relentless pursuit of perfection" (in keeping our cars in perfect condition)

it's tough to keep a car perfect and some of us have higher standards of perfection than others do :)
