Default Driver side window rattles and banging sound?

Hey all. I have a 2017 Z with about 18k miles on it. I've noticed that my driver side window/door rattles from time to time. I tried listening on the passenger side but no rattle.

Also, sometimes when I roll down my driver side window I'll hear a loud bang almost like something hitting my window/door. I can't produce the same sound every time I roll my window down it just happens at random.

Do you think the dealership will fix this issue for free or will I have to out of pocket it?

If it still has a warranty, i dont see why it wouldnt be covered.

Warranty should cover it.

Sounds like a problem I had with mine. According to dealership, it was something to do with the window regulator.

I agree with everyone, it should covered by the warranty.
either easy or not, I would take to the dealer. let them deal with it.
Just took mine for battery replacement one of the cell is dying. had my for 2 and half years.

Your warranty should cover the cost of parts and labor you may have to pay a very small deductible as I did. It is probably your window regulator/s that needs to be replaced. I had to replace my window regulators on both sides on my last Z don’t feel bad. Going to the Nissan dealership service department for warranty work I seen it as a chance to get some required maintenance done.

I don't know what they did. All I cared about was it didn't rattle when I picked it up.

Unless they had a 370Z window regulator in stock (I doubt it), it was just an adjustment of some sort.
