Nissan Co. is pissing me off with all the BS and bad engineering they are coming out with.

I just wondering what the fucktards are going to come out with for the 2010 370.

I think Nissan might have forgotten that a supercar is meant to be driven.....

I read that whole letter. They put so many exceptions in there that you're pretty much screwed no matter what you do.

What a load of crap! I would flip if something went south and they didnt back it.

And this is why if Nissan stays this route that people will go to other brands like BMW, Audi, Merc who dont do things like the way Nissan does. Ive always wanted a Z and I finally found one that was built fairly well enough for me to buy. Having said that I will probably go to a different company when Im done with this car. Love the Z but hate Nissans crapy warrenty customer service.

Hope nothing like this. I have a 2010 and would be pissed if something stupid voided the warranty.

There is a rumor that when a GTR is wrecked a group of japanese guys (mib) come and take the wrecked remains back to japan in order to keep them out of other hands. Sounds kinda weird to me, but it's been mentioned on several forums.

not sure if linking to another forum is allowed but simply googling "gtr men in black" will pull up the thread i read about it.

WTF.. so basically you cannot do anything to the GTR at all, because they excluded and warned us about the limitations in the begining. EVEN NISMO parts!

BUY IT and DONT drive it is basically what they are trying to say... its not a super car just a low production sports car... for 100k!!

AAAHHhhh this makes me made but i can see where they are coming from tho

Not true. Buy it and just drive as is.

Anyone should know that the car's warranty gets void when the car is modified (more boost, and etc). Difference is that Nissan is being 200% strict about their so-called GODZILLA.

BMW, Audi, MBZ.... they all take your warranties away if they find out that you have a piggy-back system to up the boost on your factory FI cars.

So my point is... it's nothing new.

No, what's new is that Nissan is the first company to produce a supercar and then demand you drive it as a grocery-getter. Voiding warranties for using launch control, going on a racetrack or airstrip, or turning off VDC is unheard of in the supercar world. Supercars are MADE FOR RACETRACKS. Nissan missed the boat and thinks everyone should drive their GTR as if it's a Sentra. And this is without modifying anything on the car. They are so concerned about your use of the car, it makes one feel that they put it together with glue and paperclips assuming it will fall apart if you use it to its full potential.

While I love my 370Z, I agree that this could be my last Nissan. I've never before experienced such poor customer service. While I'd love a GTR, I'd have to have the mindset that I'm buying it without a warranty (or just start modifying it right off the bat). Otherwise, the extra $30k you'd spend for a 911 turbo is worth the money with respect to customer service, quality of service work, and longevity of your warranty. If I'm spending that kind of money, I at least want a car that I can take to a track without worrying about some black box logging my activity so the bigshots can strip my warranty.

Well, the issue was the retards that where launching the car with snow mode over and over and over and the tranny's were blowing. I think Nissan was just making sure that people weren't getting one over on them with warranty claims. I can understand if your transmission went out, but when you do stupid **** to break it why should Nissan have to pay? I don't think you have to worry about the black box, unless you aren't doing something good to your car in the first place.
