Weatherstripping covered by warranty?
I've got a 2014 Roadster and the weatherstripping has a tear. It's in one spot that seems partly caused by the way the convertible top closes. Not sure if this is really a warranty thing or if they will say it's wear and tear so I thought I would ask here first. The car is a 2014 and it spent a lot of time sitting on the lot before I bought it. There's only about 2 weeks left on the warranty so if I'm going to take it in I need to do it soon.

It should be covered if a malfunctioning part is causing the problem. Take it in - the worst they can do is say no. Even if not under warranty, they might fix it as good-will.
Good luck. |
So I finally took it in. They are going to fix it. They ordered the weatherstripping and it should be here in a day or two. Just wanted to let everyone know what happened. Thanks for the help.
