I'm unsure how that part works, but if I were you, I would take it apart and see the problem. It should be pretty easy to take off from the car and then take it apart. I see an electrical connector and I wonder if dirty contacts had caused the solenoid to malfunction somehow.
Push comes to shove, replace it yourself to save hundreds of dollars. |
