new windshield pitting

i have a new 2016 z with only 5500 miles. my windshield is severely pitted. its hard for me to believe that it is happening from road debris hitting it.

scott36854 Base Member Join Date: Jul 2015 Location: alabama Posts: 3 Drives: 2016 black touring Rep Power: 10	new windshield pitting i have a new 2016 z with only 5500 miles. my windshield is severely pitted. its hard for me to believe that it is happening from road debris hitting it. the paint is in 100% perfect shape. any chance it is a faulty glass? i bought the car new btw.
