Dude... I use royal purple for freaking everything (engine oil, differential, transmission, coolant add on, fuel cleaner etc.) I'm starting to think maybe it's not a good idea to use that... Is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I use Mobil 1 engine oil (cause $25/5qts at Walmart) I use Motul RBF600 for brake fluid (because value of price point vs dry boiling temp) I use Redline most everything else (because that's what people recommend on here).

However my new truck should be at the dealer by the time I get home...I hope. I have promised myself the truck will not really be driven until spring. I have to get over 250k on the car first, and I have mods on the truck to do before I really start using it as the Z replacement. |

OP: Just do everything since you don't know the history of the car. I got my Z with 39k and since I've gotten it to 50k I replaced air filters (K&N), oil + filter a few times, rear tires, manual trans fluid, diff fluid, cabin filter (well, added; it didn't have one) and spark plugs. I still need to check my brake pads, but the rotors seem fine at least...

Not that I've experienced. Been running it for ~50K daily driven miles over 3 years. I typically aim to flush it every 6 months anyway (cause it only costs me $30 per flush). But I've let it go for a year before with no noticeable difference in braking performance
