got the p2138 code!!

While ago while i was driving i down shiffted and all of a sudden the car lost power around 60% of it and got few lights on like service engine

Default got the p2138 code!!

While ago while i was driving i down shiffted and all of a sudden the car lost power around 60% of it and got few lights on like service engine soon light and dtc light .... and lost the S-Mode on my shifter .... i stopped and connected my obd scanner and traaa it gave me code p2138 throttle/pedal position sensor / switch d/e voltage correlation. ... after a while everything went fine .... but this is the 2nd time it happens 2 me

I'd check the connector going to the pedal. Often just unplugging it and plugging it back in will clean off enough gunk to get things back to normal. A few sprays of contact cleaner may help.

If that doesn't work, it's probably in the throttle body. Once again, I'd look at the connectors first.

Oky i checked the connectors unpluged them them gave them a blow and spray .... there is two connectors 1 big on top and 1 tiny on the upper right side and nothing changed .... now we go to step two which is throttle body how to check them what i mean by how which 1 should i check 1st since there is two and should i clean them and how would i know if they are function properly?

Oky check the throttle body and it was heavily dirty .... cleaned it pretty well , and that didnt change a thing ... now i noticed somthing when i disconnect the MAF sensor the problem dissiper for a while then it comes bk , can it be a foulty maf sensor ? The throttle body works just fine

Oky i solved the problem .... it was much smaller then i thought the wire that is going to the acc padle was giving an uncorrecte voltage to the padle sensor due an water effect ... got the wire all cleaned up and did a ecu reset everything went fine .... it was good that i had this problem coz i discovered that i have dirty throttle body which i cleaned up and noticed a huge diff when idle
