I haven't got a problem yet, but I have had two pieces of plastic that had some goo on them, I think it was the adhesive to hold it in place, that fell out. They must not realize that in texas we don't need a gun to heat glue stix...I am sure these were bent into a U shape to protect cables, but the service dept had NO clue...great...I plan of using the top a lot, so if its a problem, it will wear out under warranty...any ideas though?

Can you post pictures?

My car had two pads heat welded onto the underside of the fabric top to protect the fabric from some of the metal on the 2nd (or might've been 3rd) bow. Said pads dislodged themselves after a few years.

2010 roadster GT

Mine hits the cover panel when cold on the 1st opening. Fine after that and ok in the hot weather

Mine did the exact same thing. The dealer adjusted it, and now it does it every time!

I now stick my hand out as it opens and pull the hood up before it hits. Timing is crucial.

Hi
I think those things come off of just about everyone's top. Mine came off after less than a year. I didn't try to replace them. All I did was put some padding on the ends of the bow that those pads were suppose to protect. I used the loop side of Velcro & just stuck it to the ends of the bow. It has been working good for going on two years.
