Default Roll Over Hoops (bars)

I have been trying to find some accurate info on the structural integrity of the hoops on our convertibles without much success , so I did some serious looking. I stopped opening the top, with the lid all the way up before the top folds down into the compartment. Pulled back the black curtain, leaned way over in there with a flashlight, and there they are. Big steel hoop bars welded to a large horizontal steel bar that is connected to the frame. ( similar the the on visible in the coupe.) No doubt in my mind these hoops are functional roll over protection. Peace of Mind!
Regards
PS: now I see where all how the road noise gets in.
