Default Drove my 1st Roadster today

First off I'm a Corvette guy.... the one I have now is my fourth.
Will always be a Corvette guy. But I've been looking for a fun DD and have been trolling this site for months. Not going to lie for the most part I have never had any interest in "Z's" Didn't like the 350 at all.... But I was in a dealership about 6 months ago and they had a really nice 350 in the showroom and a very nice price and my friend really liked the car.
I took a look at it ...thought it was OK but the inside was just not cool at all.
Hated everything about down the the steering wheel. I came home and was killing time a few days later and for the hell of it looked at the 370 and I was shocked how much I liked the car. So I started getting info and I came here asked some questions and really started to like what I was hearing.

Well today I was out it was a nice day saw a 2012 Blk/Blk touring loaded roadster 370 on a lot took it out and I have to tell you I'm sold.... I'm a bit away from being able to do the deal (a few months) and I may wait till after the summer which isn't a big deal to me but all I can say is WOW! that thing was fun!
When I'm on board I'll be back to be welcomed into the club here but for the record it's a done deal... very nice cars!

Oh I don't care what it turns into I just wanted to post that for a guy that this time last year couldn't care less about "Z's" the car has won me over.
As a matter of fact a buddy is looking at the new Camaro's and I've been all over him about this car. Camaro's are boring and everybody seems to have one who cares!

I believe Nissan has 0% financing through July 2013, just FYI.

And good story, man. Glad to hear about your experience

Well I should clarify that it's just something I saw on the forum. I didn't look into it myself.

I really love my fully loaded vert. These things are fun and seriously love this car even more since I've done the exhaust and slammed it on coilovers.

Glad you like the Z vert Keyo. Like you I am a vette guy. I used to mod and race them several years ago but don't anymore. Fun cars good times! Last year I fell in love with my 370 vert and haven't looked back. Im having a lot of fun with the car and Ive met a lot of really great people with it too. My biggest problem now is keeping the mods down to a minimum.

We have a loaded 2010 and I am still warming up to it. Its an excellent all around sports car, but at times I do long for a lighter car having come from modified go carts (aka 2200lb miata

Did you notice the weight of the ZR compared to your Vette? The SBC is just a joy to drive, but I prefer cars with short noses and the long one of a Vette has been something I don't know if I could every get really used to. The happy pedal does tempt me at times...and C6 values should drop with the C7 coming out.

Now that spring is here, the top is down, the Z is calling me more and more for attention.

I just bought my fully loaded roadster yesterday after trolling. I figured life is too short not to play.

It's my 49th car - and could very well be my "forever" car. We have a new FX and in a few months will be buying big 4x4 truck.

I'm in love as well.
