Default need tires...need constructive opinions

I would love to have summer and winter tires......but not in the budget at this time. So I'm probably going to go with all season tires since I drive it a lot. I looked at the Michelin Pilot...they make both sizes needed;Bridgestone only makes the size for the rear. Any other suggestions, opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

I've had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus on my Z. I highly recommend them. They are rated M+S but have a smooth ride and less noise. A good wear rating to boot. You won't be disappointed.

Pilot A/S is one of the best UHPAS tires out there. I look at it more as a great tire that can deal with cold temps (as is that category in general) and would not look to having that tire and going through snow at all other then crawling a tad in car such as the Z.

Living in Hershey with no snow tires sounds like a bad idea

You would get more benefit from buying slightly less than top of the line summer tires, and having a set of winter tires, over having A/S'.

Im running vredestein ultrac sessanta's here in Harrisburg. They do extremely well in the cold weather for a summer performance. Also has all of the quietness and traction of the PSS tires. Also half the cost...

Incidentally, I will not be driving in the snow or ice. I have my kid's beater for the extreme weather. Thanks for the advice and info everyone.

I love them, got them on my ISF, ride quality went up, sound went down, grip went up too.
And bought them from Costco which will really cover the mileage warranty 45k/2
(No tire rotations on staggered fitments)

Try the RE11's from Bridgestone. I drive a lot of miles.I got them from Costco. They pretty much beat everyone's prices.

Hey everyone:

I'm estimating that I have less than 10K of treadlife on my rear tires...and they're the original BF Goodrich Potenza's. Does anyone see probs with purchasing two single tires (same brand, model...honestly the exact same tire) but from eBay?

My motive is obviously a cheaper price. I'd say something like 40% off retail maybe. And I'm only interested in new tires, period.

Here's an example of one that I was interested in:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Yokohama-A...281d30&vxp=mtr

This place is roughly 1.5 hrs from me. Any opinions...good or bad???
