Would it have to be painted locally?

Any chance of some pics from a little further away to see how the whole car looks with the new spoiler...and perhaps a pic or two with the top down as well?

Yeah... That is what the description said at The z store website...

Description:
This fiberglass spoiler was designed specifically for the 370Z Roadster. It can be installed simply with Automotive double-sided tape. The spoiler's curves add a great accent to the already sleek look of the Roadster! Does not interfere with third brake light.

Note:
The spoiler is not available painted and will require minor prep work.

Pics of the spoiler on the roadster would definitely help my decision to purchase. I stopped by the Z store to take a look at the spoiler but it wasn't in stock. I'm on the fence on these until I see what it looks like on the car..................

EVOR 01-20-2013 12:03 AM

3 M will hold very strong. It is very hard to remove

I'll make carbon version soon. Do you guys like full carbon or half carbon just like our 350Z BLITZZ rear spoiler? BTW FRP black version is in stock. I'll update our site

Hi guys: Please don't laugh off my question too quickly but I have to ask it. I'm a decent DIY guy with house projects...multiple decks, multiple basements, from framing to drywalling, wiring, and plumbing on my own. With that said I have discovered that glue, sometimes specialized Liquid Nails glue, can be terrific on some of these home DIY scenarios (from extra adhesion of wood to concrete along with extra adhesion of fiberglass to wood/concrete as well from a shower pan install I did once.).

So...are there any opinions out there from roadster owners on using the 3M tape to set the spoiler (like a wood brace or binder would do), while allowing a serious adhesive to do the real bonding of spoiler to trunk door?

Sorry if it sounds ridiculous...I just know that there's just about a glue for everything and anything nowadays that are incredibly durable. Thx.

Highway 03-19-2013 05:22 PM

I would be afraid to use liquid nail on the trunk. It would definitely become permanent after that...at least with silicone it woiuld come up with lots of alcohol. Overall, the idea of using any adhesive to hold down a spoiler scares me.

Also, had to say hello to a fellow roadster in Indy. I have only seen a couple other one around town in the last 2 years.

Oh I know what you mean Highway. We are incredibly rare in the Circle City! I've only seen one other roadster (grey) near me on the northeast side of town.

Have to meet up for a photoshoot or a cruise some time. I will be going to Cars and Coffee once it warms up.

whittier 04-02-2013 12:06 AM

The spoiler in full carbon fiber is what I would be interested in...........................
