Amp in the retract roof area?

Does anybody have any thoughts about putting an amp in the area right behind the seats? Looking to keep the cockpit as clean as possible and wondering if it will

Default Amp in the retract roof area?

Does anybody have any thoughts about putting an amp in the area right behind the seats? Looking to keep the cockpit as clean as possible and wondering if it will overheat with the top down or do damage to the roof material in there.

I have thought about this myself. The problem is I can't tell how much empty space there is in the well area when the top is down. I know there is some clearance so a thin amp would likely fit. As for heat build up, it could definitely be a problem on hot days. Then again any car gets hot in the summer.

remove the styrofoam filler and you'll discover a cavity that would work dependent on the size of the amp
