Default Missing drain plug above trunk?

While I had my trunk open the other day I noticed a hole about the size of a quarter just above the top of the open trunk on the drivers side. I looked on the passenger side and there is a plastic cap over a similar hole. Am I missing the plug for the drivers side? It was a rainy day and I noticed a fair amount of water drip into the hole when I opened the trunk. I assume this is bad over time.

The holes are only visible with the trunk open. There is a 2" or so gap between the trunk lid and the top (back) of the trunk. The holes are under the cover that opens to allow the top to fold into the car. Can someone check and see if both holes are plugged in their car? I took some pics but they didn't turn out well.

Looks like you're missing a drain plug.

I have two of them

Not really sure which ones you are talking about but I have two rubber piece on the trunk lid that goes into the two holes that is on the trunk (quarter size) when it is closed. Is this what you are talking about?

Thanks 9Zs_Ed, I guess I will need to stop by the dealer and have one ordered.

Quartermaine, I think what you are talking about is at the front of the trunk (well the end of the trunk nearest the bumper). The part I seem to be missing is on the other side of the trunk nearest the cabin.

I see. Just checked, I got two. Need to order one from your dealer. Did the factory miss it?

I guess so, I bought it used so maybe the previous owner did something but I doubt it. It was a Nissan executive car and only had 1500 miles on it.
