I'm 6' and have noticed, at times, that I feel more cramped than I did in my former S2000. I find myself sitting with a very straight back so that my legs have enough room to stretch. One thing that I keep going back to is the accelerator placement with that floor connection that seems to put my leg in an uncomfortable angle sometimes. Do others experience this?

I'm 6' 3". I find my head touches the inside lining if I sit up straight. Instead I have the seat as low as possible and the back leaning a bit back and I fit all okay.
First day with the car. Vroooooommmm! Still finding my way on the heel toe action and building confidence to take it closer to the red line. db |

Hi, thinking about trading my 08 G37 coupe in for a roadster. Just wondered, as I had the same sensation that I could get the seat back far enough but the recline felt too upright. But if you remove the readrest don't you bang your head on the hard plastic roll hoops?? I don't quite understand that. Do you stuff a pillow back there or something??

i have never once came close to hitting my head on the plastic. to even touch the plastic, i have to lean my head back at an undrivable angle. trust me. most people never use headrests in sports car, they just never pay attention. in the z coupe.. there's more than enough room to wear a full helmet and the headrest not be in the way.
you must have the base model with cloth seats to do this tho.. as for the other seats have risers that come up the sides of the headrest that do not allow it to be reclined into the cavity.. even with the headrest removed. hope this helped. |

6'3" and I fit ok. My 350 roadster was much more comfortable but not the car that the 370 is. I dropped the seat all the way, reclined and backed off the lumbar setting. I posted a couple of weeks ago but got no reply asking if anyone knew if 350 seats will fit the mounting tracks on the 370. The 370 seats have more lateral support in both the seat and back which narrows the seat a bit much for us big boys.
I also think that accomodating the heating/cooling equipment makes the seats a little higher than the heat only found on the 350. Does anyone know of any aftermarket seats that squeeze out a little more room? I love the car but another inch here and there would certainly be nice. |
