Freaking Pebble

Had a :shakes head: pebble land on the outside of the wind deflector for my entire trip to Arizona. Vibration assisted the :shakes head: pebble in digging into the paint. Have to remove the deflector to make repairs. Does anybody know how to remove the wind deflector?

When I had my 350z and got it tinted, the guy unscrewed/unhooked the door pins for the windows to stop moving up and down.

Try pulling off the door liner. you can probably carry the tint down a little lower which should help the problem.

Sorry to be a necromancer, but it's been three years and still nobody has posted how to remove the wind deflector, so here you go.

First separate the two halves of the cover by prying the front one off. This will break most of the tabs in the cover so be prepared to buy a new one. Then there are three Phillip's head screws that will need to be removed to release the back half of the cover. Then there is a 3/8' nut and a 3/8" bolt that have to be removed from the bracket that secures the deflector, once these are off the deflector can have one end moved towards the back of the car to clear the stud, then just pull it out of the other side.

370 decals

At least he got his decals. I've asked three times, and still nothing.
