How is the Gen 3 in the Roadster? Considering it but worried it may be too loud? I'm not a huge fan of intake roar - much prefer to hear my exhaust. What's your experience with it?

@fire: I really like the black rear diffusor. This will probably be my first mod - when I get my Z 'vert in july.

And this too: EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 Carbon Fiber Center Bumper Fang Cover

Under normal driving conditions, you won't even notice a difference in sound. When you put your foot in it there is a moderate amount of difference but it is mostly overridden by the exhaust. The difference it makes in the drivability of the car at low rpms is worth it. Worth every penny!

Thanks. My z is BC so the darker headlights improve the look of the car.

Dsphoto, the gains from the CAI are pretty impressive. At close to 300whp is the tune getting imperative? Just curious as I have done the exhaust upgrade but am still hesitant do change the intake. Last thing I want to do is reach the point were the car actually requires a tune (too lean, etc.).

The car runs great. Mixture is spot on (I have log works to monitor this). Te tune will just make it sing with 93 octane fuel which I regularly use. I am really happy with the performance. Also, it's putting out 305 hp at the wheels.

I'm very confused now. I have followed most of the FI threads and now I'm kind of scared to go with either Stillen or GTM. What do you guys think is better, go with a FI and spend the time and money for tuning( I don't live within 250 miles of a shop that can do it.) or just get a CAI, headers, 49 state legal cats and CBE? Maybe a nitrous system from Zex?

Ultimately I will go with a stillen sc. In the meantime I chose cai and exhaust which made the car much more drivable! Also I love the sound of the exhaust. I won't do the sc until the warranty is over. I hope they have worked out all the bugs by then. My brother has a stillen sc on his mustang and loves it.
