370Z convertible isn't out yet and no one has seen the pictures of it. So, I am assuming you're comparing 350Z convertible vs 370Z coupe?

Roasters arent meant to be driven with the top up anyways. The top is just for emergency's where you HAVE to drive somewhere in bad weather. I had an S2000 and I probably put the top up 3 times in a year.... Here in TX the winters are mild and dont last long so thats what the wifes beater was for If im able to afford the new 370 Roadster it will most likely be the same "rarely see the top"

^ lol, in phoenix, you don't have a choice. 9 months of the year, that top is going to be up or you're going to cook.
On another note, I'll state the obvious, if performance is very important, verts are no good. People who have never driven verts just don't realize how much body blex are in those things. |

I, for one, want the vert. While performance is something that's important to me, top down motoring is the only way to go! That's why I want the 370z vert! Best of both worlds!! I'm in Florida, and while they call it the "sunshine state", a good majority of the spring/summer/fall are spent dealing with rain (the afternoons anyway).
I was down at the dealership a month or so ago and was close to closing on a 350z vert. But, when I heard there was a possibility that a 370z vert was going to be coming out, I decided to wait and see. |

Definitely the coupe.
The roadster is going to be a soft top. Soft top is noisy and will wear out quickly in a few years. Beside most roadsters look good when the top is down but not so good when the top is up. I only consider the convertible only if it is a hard top and It looks good with the top up like the Mercedes SL coupe. |

I'm a coupe person and always have been; it's basically that I prefer the little edge in performance a coupe has over a convertible. However, the longer I live in WI, the more I think about making the switch to convertibles. We don't have too many great weather days and with that being true, I keep feeling like I want to the "outside" for every single second I can during the warmer months. I do not think my next car with be a vert, but I am thinking about it.
