4-Month Review/Opinion
I took delivery of my Z roadster on June 7, and have accumulated just 1500(fun & spirited) miles to date, as I drive the "Z" for sport/recreational purposes only (my '04 Acura TSX serves flawlessly as my daily driver). Here are my thoughts after four months of anal-retentive, obsessive-compulsive ownership.
1) This is essentially a terrific, high-performance sports car at an unbeatable price/performance ratio. Still, it's not perfect... 2) Soft top issues - I reported two separate problems in the first few weeks of ownership, and this forum has echoed these issues repeatedly. 3) That said...other than the disappointing top issues (still a big, unacceptable annoyance), I experienced scuffs/scratches from negligent dealer prep (mostly fixed with my obital buffer); and a couple of other minor issues, but nothing of significance. While there are a number of things I could nick-pick about, if only the top issue would go away, I'd quickly pronounce the ZR as my new undying love. |
