You should let your dealer know about your issue(s). That's the ONLY way you can get Nissan to create a TSB.

I wonder if I have to go to my dealer for that or if I can just order the DVD and do it myself.

Each dealer has been mailed one disc set, free of charge, from Clarion.

Yeah, you have to go to the dealer.

Correct, Clarion will not distribute the disk set to the end user.

Just an FYI, I was told by the local service rep after running my VIN that this SBC does not apply to my car. For the record, I do not know at this time if that is an accurate statement. I will be checking version numbers.

I Got the upgrade letter in the mail while I was in Jordan.

So I will get it done soon.

Is this available in Europe?
We have HDD Navigation and my dealer told me this bulletin was not for European version...

Got it done, Nave is more responsive with the iPhone but I never really noticed any other issues besides that the iPod functionality was a bit slow and now it is much faster.

Got it done. The ipod finally works correctly.

I read another TSB here recently about the nav system and went to the dealership last week. The tech told me that only the third disc was required to upgrade me so I assume that this was the fix I had done. I will be checking my version today with this new info to ensure it was the right one.

Now if I only didn't have to pay to get the most recent maps...

Thanks for the info!

John

Yea, the first thing that I thought of was whether this will include a map upgrade. Hope so!!!

THANKS!

I checked the version info when I got into my car this am and unfortunately while the software was indeed upgraded, the map version is still 09-10.

The NAVTEQ website states that if you want to upgrade the maps, you have to buy the package for $149. That gets you an unlock code that you have to bring to your dealership so they can install the update at an unknown further expense.

Bummer.

What are the symptoms for this?
