Looks good!!!

Thanks everyone! I concur guys... this should be a factory Nissan item. The rear just does not look complete (IMHO)without it.

It was purchased off of eBay from Spoiler Solutions. Spoiler Solutions.com Just under $325 shipped.

I sent them an email before I purchased and asked a few questions. The were great to work with and it was on my doorstep inside a week. I can not say enough about the quality of this item! Paint, fit, in installation were right on. The installation instructions were a bit vauge (and no cartoons). If you you can't figure out what you need to be doing, you probably shouldn't be drilling holes in your car...you should have it done by someone that can.

My schedule is really tight right now but I will try and get a D.I.Y. post together in the next couple of weeks.

As a side note. I got my custom car cover yesterday and it fits over the stubby antenna and the wing perfectly. Fits like a tight lycra dress on a tighter a....well, you know!

I ordered the spoiler today. If I mess up what is my liability? Meaning how much will it cost me to replace the trunk lid?

I cancelled the order since my Paypal payment did not go through for some reason. I will try to find something more extreme.

I don't know the answer to that but don't sweat it. You aren't going to have any problem!

If you need moral support, we are here for you. :) I started working on a write up for you today. Didn't get much done, but at least I started.:driving:

I just pulled the 370Z emblem off of the rear bumper and put on the Fairlady Z emblem. That was the only "mod" the wife insisted on because I had put one on her 2+2.

The NISMO S-Tune rear spoilers come with a template that you can lay onto the deck lid to mark your holes. Just keep in mind the old saying...

Measure twice...cut once!

If anything else....that rear deck lid has a Nissan MSRP of $576.58 (Not including paint and body work).

Here are a few shots. I couldn't be happier! Paint is perfect, fit was perfect and installation was pretty easy. I will do a write up when I get a little time.

Just got a 40th since the roadster didn't look nice with the bubble butt and now seeing this mod made me feel bad about not getting a roadster! Great job.

Wow, thanks! I have to say that you could not have gone wrong with the 40th though. My good friend has one and it is absolutely stunning. Had they done the 40th theme in a roadster, that is what I would have!

Ordered my wing from SS. They where very helpfull. I told the saleman that I wanted to do mine in a matte black and he took $40 off and is shipping it in primer. Thanks for the DIY article. I'm getting mine professionally installed as I have ordered front splitter, canards, and side skirts from Stillen, Wing from SS. Working on rear diffuser from EVO-R. Take care.

Years ago I installed a spoiler on my Honda Accord that I bought of eBay and it was pretty easy. I do know I was very nervous as I did not want to mess it up. The template made it very easy. Just measure twice and cut once! I recall the instructions called for a punch to be used then you would drill. It was pretty easy.
