I guess that rear windshield is a real pain for tinters. There isn't enough room from inside the cabin to do it because of that glass divider obstructing the way.

Got my tints done yesterday
I guess that rear windshield is a real pain for tinters. There isn't enough room from inside the cabin to do it because of that glass divider obstructing the way. The only real way to do it was to push the button to close the cover just up until that rear flap flips up and let go. Even then it's a very tight fit as there is that extra layer of cloth there tied to the frame of the car which has to be pulled away from the glass by one guy and the tinter goes under the flap.
Also, in case when they're tinting your car and your top stops moving because you stopped it midway, turn your car off for a full 5-10 minutes. My top stopped responding on me a few times probably because the car freaks out that you turned it off while the top was halfway to closing or opening (because in a real world situation, why would you ever do that?). Here are some pics of the tint job. Using Lumarr FormulaOne tint, 35% all around:

dealer wanted ~750 per wheel and i found a deal on eBay for them...i ended up spending half as much for the wheel and tire combo and they were practically brand new with tpms sensors already installed

trust me i would've gotten 'em as dark as possible if it was legal but i've been on the other end of that $250 ticket once and i said no more after that! i've heard of people that have been made to peel the tint off by the cop as well around these parts
not to mention i refuse to drill holes into my front bumper so that would add another $75 if and when i get pulled over so i'm just going to go ahead and minimize my losses at the expense of looking good

Looks very nice, I'd be nervous with them trying to crawl into the rear window area from outside.
We picked up our 370z PW about a week ago, have an appointment for VentureShield, but haven't decided on Tinting... Your car looks great!
