Snow Accumulation on the Convertible Top
This question is for vert owners who live in snow climate areas: I have no garage so I'm inquiring on the approximate amount of snow you've dealt with on your vert top before taking the snow off. Thanks...

I've never owned a 'vert so take this with a grain of salt. I can't imagine keeping any of them outside in snow country without a substantial roof of some sort. And walls so the snow can't drift in. I guess that's a garage. I wouldn't keep one outside in the Winter even here in S AR where we seldom get more than an inch or two. YMMV

A car cover wouldn't take over the weight imposed by snow accumulation. If it's anything, the car cover would worsen or add complication to the problem.
Back to the original topic. It's probably prudent to keep the snow off daily, but that depends on accumulation and the type of snow. The fluffy kind is very light, but the wet one is heavy. I would just use a rule of thumb that makes sense. |
