Top is stuck in the middle position

Thanks, Gene. I hear ya about the age thing. I traded a few emails with Klaus from Top Hydraulics and he told me about the wire thing. I haven't gotten around to it yet but he assures me my problem is messed up wires. Good to know about the resistance problem. I plan to reinforce my splices with a couple of layers of shrink tube.

The hydraulic pump overheats if left in a half open state because it seems to maintain pressure. Once it releases pressure the top can be moved manually but it is probably disabled because of the overheating protection. Not sure if it’ll reset when it cools down.

I’ve also noticed that the top doesn’t like to only be opened halfway. Parts tend move out of position.

Hi I have a 2010 convertible I have not used it for a couple of months after I had it detailed the battery went flat so I replaced it and the roof doesn’t respond at all no lights on dash what do you think 🤔
