i called nissan consumer affairs. they said they called the dealer who told them the roof works fine, and it's just aesthetics, and since the car is 5 years old i just need to deal with it. Consumer affairs told me to get a second opinion from another dealer, which i did, and was told that yeah it doesn't look right, the bungees are putting more pressure on one side of the car then the other. But they're not experts since this is Ohio and they're only seeing 1 convertible a year and it's usually the murano convertible. They said they could try to take it apart to diagnose but they're not sure how long it would take them to figure out the issue/solution - could take months. Mentioned that it may be something that a roof specialist shop is best to look at. Last edited by vman12; 08-24-2019 at 09:21 PM. |
