Default Interior Door Sills on the Roadster

Does it bother any potential roadster owners, who want the frost interior, that only the seats are frost and the door sills are black? I love the look of the coupe where the door sills and the seats are both frost. On the roadster, it almost looks as if the frost seats just do not belong with the rest of the interior. I am thinking of ordering a roadster, Monterey Blue with frost interior but honestly the door sills being black just aren't as appealng to me! Being out here in Arizona, I feel like a black interior is dangerous! Any opinions? Does anyone know Nissan's reasoning for doing it in the coupe, but not the roadster?

I really think it's a dirt thing -- Nissan's way of suggesting a darker color for the vert. to keep it looking nicer over time. Exposed to the elements, the gray might start looking quite skanky after awhile. But, if you insist, you may have the seats...

If the top is up, it must be parked.

I never thought of that, but I have never owned a convertible either! Good point!

You can replace them with the aluminum ones that has the illuminated "Z".
It is a $200 option.
