Unhappy Roadster windows not closing properly

Hi.
Those of you with a roadster know that when you open the door the window goes down a short way & when you close the door the window goes back up all the way again.
Mine stopped going back up all the way when I close the door. It happens to both sides.
A couple of times after parking I've give back to the car to find one or both windows open all the way!!! No idea how this happens.
Anyone had any similar trouble &/or know what the cause & solution might be?
(It's a 2010 model.)

Thanks.

Peter.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
I had found a fix involving holding the window switch up or down for 10 secs., etc. to reset the auto operation. I had tried it a few times & didn't fix the problem.
I decided to try it again a couple of different ways & it worked.

Is it cold outside? If so, the window maybe frozen.

Thanks for your reply.
I've actually solved the problem.

But when it first happened it coincided with the sub-zero cold spell we had in Chicago a few weeks ago & I too thought it might be due to the freezing temps. We've had some warm weather (40s) recently & I was disappointed to find that it didn't cure the problem.

Glad I Googled the problem & was surprised to find posts about it. Otherwise it would have been a trip to the dealer.

Yeah, the window functions the same on all models, and will need to be reset in this fashion whenever door panels are pulled, and to my knowledge whenever the battery is replaced, or cables removed.
Bear in mind that doors need to be shut when you do the reset.
