No Warranty

Well after a week of back and forth, Lithia will not be covering the soft top repair. Also pretty certain it was done at the dealership and not by the previous owner. My husband wants to try to weld it, but I am buying a new one and will also be doing the wiring wrap precautionary maintenance.

Any other recommended maintenance items I should consider?

Any issue not buying it from the Nissan dealer? Looking at Nissanpartsdeal.com or Parts.com. oemautopartsandaccessories.com was cheapest and had the best shipping, but cannot confirm the availability of the part. (they were $158)

SnowXTC,

If you have the 6 speed manual (you don't say in your signature), you should consider getting the RJMPerformance clutch pedal. I put one in (myself, its a DIYer for those handy with tools) and it has totally transformed the car. No more hop, skip and jump starts in first and second. Its the clutch that Nissan should have put in the car at the factory. Totally adjustable.

I absolutely agree with Gene. The RJMPerformance clutch pedal assembly is a must have for 370Z owners with the manual transmission. Not only does it make starts much more smooth it helps make hard shifts all the way up much less snappy. Well worth both the money and the upside down time under the dash.

Dealership is talking about warranty.

I knew it was the factory manual and it is very in depth, but definitely not 370Z for dummies manual. It will be intense reading.

I may just have to take a nice drive when I decide to sell mine. Heh.(California Z guy here - we have the weather for it 9 months out of the year.)

You realize this thread is over a year old, right? What was your post even in response to?
