Any updates... Is your top finished?

I will be ordering a top a soon as I finish my 10pt. roll cage upgrade.

If fitment is on-point I will gut out my entire top mechanism for weight reduction on my drag car.

Sorry, but smoothline is pretty much a scam. https://www.bbb.org/us/pa/cheswick/p...119/complaints
I am working with my CC company and taking action against them. The "owner" Jack does not seem like someone you want to do any kind of business with. Learn from my issue and avoid them. Buyer beware for sure.

This sucks!

After all the back and forth and it took the prototype nearly a year to be completed.

The odd thing is I posted a while back that I lost communication (he would not respond) with Smoothline. I had asked him if I can get the first production top so I can share firsthand fitment with the group, and he never responded.

Sad to hear... This was a good option for many of us.

I was at a car show the other day and there was a tricked out 370z Roadster. What's interesting is that the guy installed a roll cage. Wonder if his roof mechanism broke. That seems like a pretty cool idea. I wonder if there is a way to just create a roof cover from some nice material for when it rains.
