I like the look of my 3" far more than the stock antenna. I've also seen 2" versions advertised, but I've never seen one on a car.

Do they make a 3" antenna without the company name on it? Seems a bit tacky

Is it normal that I'm able to twist the top CF portion of the antenna? Or is it defective?

Sorry it took so long to reply. I'll bet I headed out thinking "I'll check that" a dozen times before I remembered when I got to the car. I'm afraid old-timers is kicking in.

Mine is rock solid. No rotation at all.

As to the writing, I think mine says something, but I haven't noticed it in a while. Maybe it faded, or I did. In another dozen tries perhaps I'll remember to actually look.

Thanks for checking, I knew it was defective because of that rotation but it functions well so I'll just buy another one when I run out of things to buy

Not a fan of the writing tho
