Default Would you use "Forcefield protectant spray" on your soft top ?

Hello fellow members,

My wife today had purchased for me two spray cans, which she thought it might be a good idea since I have been complaining about my soft top was never been water proof since day one. The water seems like it just soaks up and never beads. Of course before I start spraying all over the top, just thought I would ask for some support first.

This spray is advertise for shoes and seems solid evident from there videos I have seen on you tube
https://youtu.be/mBfKCFbYje4

There is plenty more there on YouTube, but the question is, "Is it safe to use ?"

I have attached a picture of what the can is and what it contains.

The can does say "Not for use on Vinly or patent leather"

Does this mean it's safe for our canvas tops?

I'm hesitate because the bottle contains alcohol ....

Thanks million guys
