Default 14k miles time for tires...

Not sure what made me think to check my rears but glad I did. Factory rubber on the Rays in the rear down to indicators. Fronts still like new, so started the search. Knew I'd spend 1200ish for all 4 corners. I then stumbled on Bigbrand Tires and saw the Ventus v12 evo 2's massive discounts and $100 rebate on top of that. So, I decided to do all 4 going with 255/35's front and 295/30's on the rears for $840 with tax installed AND I'll get $100 rebate card. Smokin deal!!! These will look good on the Rays for sure. Going wider just a hair will counter what reviews saying about them being really quick on response. If they measured one of the highest and THE highest g rating in the max category I'm sure they are much better than factory rubber. Thought I'd share with all my Z family : )

How about some pics? Keep up updated on how you like them. I'm going to be needing my first set of new tires soon.

You could always add 20mm spacers and push the wheels out all around.
You'd be just about flush with the fender edge.

Yep alignment, and would love some 11's, but the rebates and discounted offers too good to pass up. I think their rebate thing ends in May hence the going ahead. Fronts I'll try to sell to the techs. Was looking at the kuhmo ps 91's and obviously the pilot super sports. In either case savings just too big. Thanks for reading friends!

Update/quick review. With going wider front and rear the crazy 1st thing is now my car is much lower. Reminder, 19" factory Rays. Went with 255/35 fr, 295/30 rears with 20mm spacers rear which is absolutely perfect!!! Can't stress that, perfect size with spacers. I have 10mm spacers for the fronts that will get installed when I put all my cross drilled rotors, stoptech pads and braided lines. Tires are super super quiet, can't hear them. Once I got them with a few miles, turn in very very precise. Rears are gonna be hard to break loose as freaking wide they are. Cannot wait to break them in, will be driving the car to work the next few days 160 miles round trip commute to get them at least closer to break in. Will post stance pics on instagram @jandmaddiedad since too hard to get pics posted on this site. Very pleased $832 installed all 4 and $100 rebate Amex card coming my way. Not bad gents, not bad at all. Going to be really hard to beat that value for performance.
