Update! I took the car back to a dealer for repair under warranty. They said they replaced the rubber bungee cords. Now the top works great! No rubbing, no pop

They said they replaced the rubber bungee cords. Now the top works great! No rubbing, no pop when the top stretches out and the lid sets down softer. Now maybe I can relax and just enjoy the car. Bummer, blueranger and vman12 like this.
