I'm finding myself in the same situation. I put 3K miles on it in the first month of ownership, which is about 1/4 of the miles I usually drive in a year. If I keep this up, then replacing the tires, which cannot be rotated might be a deterrent? :P

Gas certainly isn't, since it's so damn cheap right now.

Oh, really? I was considering doing that to get the urge out of my system :P But I'm weary of being jackknifed by a stupid semi truck.

Jack knife is when a truck turns to sharp and breaks the tow to the trailer. Like 1Life said no trucks allowed on that road since there are two hair pin turns and to many curves that a truck has difficulty with.

Yes, I know what jackknifing means. But when it (used to) happen on that road, you could be going around a corner with zero visibility and then encounter a stationary trailer that spans both lanes with nowhere to turn off the road or stop in time. That is how a lot of people have died on that road :-\

Glad they finally banned trucks from that road. I have also driven the Pacific Coast Highway north of San Francisco and it is an amazing experience, it is both beautiful and full of technical twists and turns... the biggest danger on that road is rockslides and nature is less compliant than truckers

Wish having the underbody spoiler pieces body color matched was an option. They look off even against the red.
