Installation Price Of 750? Is it Worth it?
Hey guys, i just got a qoute from this store name Al and Eds Auto Sound in Ontario, CA. The owner took a look of my audio equiments and told me that they'll do the installation for me along with making a custom box for me for a total of 750 dollars. Now my question is, is it worth it?
The owner claimed that they do a great job in installing everything and always made sure the wiring are done in a very clean way. So, yeah, here are the stuff that i needed to install: 1. Kenwood DXN 7140 Head Unit 2. Alpine SPR-17S 6-1/2" Speakers along with the Tweeters 3. 12" Polkaudio Sub 4. Alphine PDX 500 AMP 5. Custom Box for the Sub What do u guys think? Should i go ahead with it? or should i find another place to do it? P.S. Al & Eds Auto Sound, Ontario, CA : Reviews and maps - Yahoo! Local Yahoo showed a decent user review about this place, so yeah. Thx in advance ^^ |
just to give u an idea, im in louisiana and i was charged $150 for the same dnx7140 with backup cam and ipod cable. other shops quoted me 250 and one even said 500

That price is laughable. I'm not sure if that was what they usually charge people or if they are just insane. But 750 is a joke. At best that is 200 dollars worth of work.
