i guess i'm lucky. fiance' is a car person and even if/when kids come into play the Z or whatever sports car i have stays :tiphat:

3 car garage? That's the most elusive thing when living near downtown. Or would she just trade cars with you when you needed to take the kids? My wife doesn't feel comfortable driving manual on the road and I refuse to buy an automatic, so trading cars isn't really an option. Luckily, we're both on board with the empty nester lifestyle.

Ha. We're in a similar boat. She's getting rid of her Accord soon for an SUV. I don't know why she wants an SUV so badly. They seem so "soccer mom" to me. I've been trying to get her into an A5 but it isn't working. She's hung up on the Acura RSX, but it'd be kind of cool if she got the FX37 so we'd have the same engine...

Ah, yeah, the Q7 and X5 are nice, but are too large for her taste. Even the Q5 was too big. She actually wants to look at the new Q3.

I think you chose right:tup:. I don't mean to :stirthepot: but I think the Cayenne Turbo S is a complete waste of money. The thing costs six figured and weighs over 5k lbs. I don't see the appeal. It's a bad buy if you want a sports car because riding so high and weighing so much, it'll never be that sporty. And it would seem crazy to use it like a proper SUV, towing boats and driving through mud and brush. If I was going to spend that much and had the parking, I'd buy a Vette and some random SUV/truck. One for sport and one for hauling.

Geez! That's some crazy power, but I bet it still gets smoked around the track by a stock base Vette. Hell, the base Vette might even hold its own in the quarter mile with that beast. Lbs/HP is the ever critical number.

1/4 mile the AWD comes into play though. heavy/powerful car with a proper launch over a high power rwd car that has the chance of spinning and a poor launch :stirthepot:

Yup, that's why I said might. Z06 would crush it, though.

Yeah, that C7 Z06 is a mean machine. I thought about really upping the budget and getting a base C7 in lieu of a 370. The C7's are so much nicer than the C6.

I am also in search for my dream Z in the market and when I watched some reviews of the car on youtube, they mentioned that it's good to get rearcam on this car due to poor rear visibility.

I love the nav tho many hate it. And the seats like my sport seats in my g35 are worth every penny!

scorp38 11-08-2014 07:39 PM

Touring worth it. Nav is unessesary and extra on top of touring. The nav unit is ugly IMHO any who. Try to get g37s seats those are the ****. My mom has a g37xs coupe and the seats are 100 times better than 370z seats.
