How is this price?

hi all,

I just purchased my first Z and i was wondering if i had a decent deal on it.

It was a 2011 Z, touring with sport package (leather and bose speakers), with 18k miles for 27.6k drive out (im from texas)

My buddy and i were fighting with them over price til 11pm :ugh2: and we settled on the price. It was a pearl white Z, my fav color, so i just had to get it lol. :happydance:

you paid right on retail for it. so its not bad.

personally, i would have went somewhere else, maybe private party, and got the same car for 3-5k less

I saw that too, based on NADA and BlueBook, but those were based on around 45k miles, mine was only 18k miles so i was like BOO YAH haha

But i guess afterall, you just cant go wrong with the idea of owning the Zee:hello:

no, mine is based on 18k miles. go check the link again.

you paid exactly what the dealer wanted for that car. they started i would guess 3k or so over that and "let" you work them down to their real price.

having a dealers license i know these things :tiphat:

trust me lol

Sounds like a good deal, especially if it was certified pre-owned with an extended warranty.

I dislike you, j/k lol

I was checking manhiem auction and they run for 25k on there so i figured i got a deal, especially they all run for at least 28-30k around here where i am.

Anyways my buddy is looking for one too haha, any tip on how to find/haggle the price? ;)

my login info for manheim works well for me lol

but best tip to haggle is nit pick every little thing you see if buying private party. typically a big name dealer wont care since they have the foot traffic that a private seller wont.

my best advice is search a lot!

when i bought mine i had about 3 solid months of searchign everyday until my perfect Z popped up.....in louisiana lol

i got my 2009 in 2011 with 1500 miles on it. paid almost 10k under book value and about 16k under sticker :tiphat:

I hate buyers like you hahahaha

OP - Enjoy the car. White Z in TX is hot. People pay premiums for it. Nice car!

-I didn't realize our car loses value so quickly. Carman only offered me 30k for my Nismo with less than 4k miles on it.

never trade your car in. only reason to ever do it is if you are getting a super good deal and they bring a pornstar in to blow you while signing the papers.

dealer gives you way less so they can make big bucks on it.

been helping a friend get a 2012 370z with low miles all the packages and nav. book is typically 27-29k retail trade in is about 25-26k although most likely dealerships will offer you 20-24k so they can sell ask 30k and sell for 27k and still make money.

:iagree::iagree:

Typically they will offer you the price that they can get those cars from auction with average condition
