those are generic rates to give an idea of monthly payments. The 42 and 54 month terms are shorter than most people take, but then they can work on the term to lower payments, rather than discounting any of the BS fees.
Lots of people fall for this crap though, which is why many dealers do it. I cant tell you how many deals we have lost by giving a straight price and not adding anything, then a shopper goes somewhere else, gets a $500 lower price which sounds great and then pays $1200 in fees believing those are standard or required. Then they tell me my price was higher even though they paid $700 more to the other dealer. |
