Good price on an 09?

So what's a good price for a 2009 370z? I found a local dealer that has one incoming that meets my criteria. And also another that has one in stock.

Default Good price on an 09?

So what's a good price for a 2009 370z? I found a local dealer that has one incoming that meets my criteria. And also another that has one in stock. Both have quoted me ~200-300 over invoice on email. Is this a good price? How much is everyone else getting their 09's for?

Thanks,
TJ

I think anything close to or at invoice is a good price.

^I agree w/ Fuz...but you know what? The more input your thread gets, the more likely you won't buy one. Why? Because everyone is gonna give lower, and lower, and lower numbers. And you know what that does? It plants a seed in your head leading you to think that it can be bought at such low-balled #'s.

No more input from me on these kind of threads because we'll all have these "experts" come out of the woodwork claiming to know the esoteric, inside secrets on how to buy a new car 1000's below invoice yada, yada yada. People who know how a new car dealership operates, and how it "makes a killing on you even if can buy beaneath their holdback."

Good luck bro. And btw, don't you know you can buy it $1,000's below invoice?

A good price is one that has (car & insurance) payments you can live with for the life of the loan.

i know what you're saying. was mainly asking input of those who have purchased recently in SoCal. i really don't care about what people's opinions are just looking for facts from recent buyers. anyways i got the price down a little bit more so i'm happy which is all that matters

I got mine for 2000 under MSRP...although I was lucky because the manager rides motorcycles and since I race...he hooked me up. However, most deals should be at or below MSRP, don't pay anything over MSRP. If you are patient and shop around you'll find the deal you want.

Good luck!

$2k under MSRP doesn't really say much. what model and options? and to a fellow rider.

I just bought a base model silver with 6MT and Sports package yesterday, MSRP 3399, i got it for 30k flat plus all the stuff, OTD at aroudn 33.1k. It seems like 370z is not selling that hot at least around my area, Sacramento CA.

It just depends on how much you are wanting it, anything within 1 to 200 dollars of invoice is reasonable, at or under invoice is a done deal (i actually got mine for almost 500 under invoice cause the dealership fuc#ed up my order majorly and i ended up getting a different color and nav that i originally didnt want). Gatta love how life ends up sometimes!

Well I heard from a guy I know who swears he knew a guy who got one for $7,000 plus his 1894 Toronado as trade in! ....and they threw in the floor mats for free!

Looking for a good price? Visit the dealer! This price thing sounds pointless to me. Too many variables are involved in the sale of an automobile, like trade ins, sales tax, finance or cash, etc. If you found your dream car and you pay sticker, who cares, you got what you wanted.

I've been shopping for the past 3 days and found about 4 dealers who would let it go @ invoice. 2 would consider a couple hundred off. I finally found a base model for 500 under invoice.
