Quick question- Will you be able to get the syncro rev match option without choosing the Sports Package in the Touring Package?

From what I understand no, I believe you have to get the sport package to get the syncro-rev system.

wonder if you could just get a sport ECU afterwords and get it that way don't know if there is anythin mechanical involved in this rev matching. Don't know how cost effective it would be thought the ECU for the G is $2100 ish canadian.

Well from what I have heard and read there are sensors that are basically reading where the gear shift lever is and anticipates where it will go next then blips the throttle based on the sensors reading. So I think it would be a lot more complicated than just simply replacing the ecu, that would be awesome though. But for that much money you may as well have just gotten the sport model anyway.

the sensors should be in all car models the ECU needs to know what gear you are in any way but ya might just as well get the sport model.

Maybe that's how these higher end cars are but my 2003 civic si doesn't have that and neither do the s2000's. That would be practical though if they did have them in every car model.
