Seriously...between a Mustang, a Z, and a FRS....dude the Z is the best sports car for the money. The only advantage the Mustang has are the useless back seats.

The Z is a nice car, but idk man. As my 2nd car and not having driven it for almost a month and a half I'm content with getting rid of it. I think I'm getting old because I've become a mindless meat bag driving a Toyota Corolla to work every day. I've become ambivalent.

You should go get your testosterone levels checked. Sounds like you need a boost.

Go for it, I bought one good looking midnight blue 2014 loaded and love it but If you cannot afford the money to spend on premium gas, don't buy it If you'll shiver each time you fuel.
I live in Ontario Canada and here we get F@#$ with gas taxes so you guys are lucky.
My insurance was not very much more than my previous car which was a 1.6 L engine, but that depends on the area you live in and your age, etc..
It's a gas guzzler but it goes like hell and the girls like it very much. You want to play, you have to pay.

I've found that premium gas with 10% ethanol reduces my mileage by 12-15%. I guess that when they mix in the ethanol, they mix in other 'filler' junk, as I was told by a friend who mixes and delivers gasohol. So 10% ethanol is usually only about 82% lower octane gas as pumped into your car. What a rip off! Now the corn growers and ethanol industry are lobbying HARD to replace 10% ethanol with 15% ethanol, even though the EPA says mixes of greater than 10% can damage small engines. The Z owners manual is pretty insistent about not using more that 10%. Interesting fact as related to me by a gas delivery man, I live in corn country, even the corn farms don't fill their bulk tanks with gasohol on the farm for their personal use.
