Default 2009 or 2010?

I am debating on a 2010 or a 2009. I do like the minor changes for 2010. And I would like to have the 2010 in hopes to avoid any minor problems from 2009.

However, I could get a 2009 for a better deal. If I knew I could get a 2010 for just over invoice I'd do it (it is too early to do that). I am afraid that I won't be able to talk the dealer down on a 2010 for a while.

I wish I could get VPP. I am ready to purchase just not sure which one. Any input?

You can probably save thousands buying an 09 at the end of the year. Is a couple thousand dollars really worth the couple minor tweaks for 2010?

Well, thats the kind of input I am looking for. However, I know there I minor tweaks and "fixes" that happen from year to year. And, while I haven't heard any major problems with the Z; I still get nervous about first year vehicles.

Fixes to what? Unless they announce they are putting an oil cooler on 2010 models, there is nothing to fix.

There are no tweaks or fixes that I know of yet. Just auto defrost side mirrors and a usb port. that is about it.

And in-cabin air filter, which the 2009 has a slot for but does not make use of. I think the 2009 can be found for a great deal, and any of the "updates" are minor that the money saved will be better.

Was it determined that all the 09s would need is the filter and it would work just fine?

Not 100% sure, I believe someone said it is in our manual or service manual, but we just do not have one.

I think there was a fix for the seat clicking, and also the ECU high pitch squeal. The paint rolling up where the fender meets the bumper might be a fix too, if there are enough people with the problem. But pretty minor all in all.

Link to info? Wouldn't mind reading about that.
