You've got an auto. It blips downshifts for you. That's not SRM.

Just traded my 2011 Z for a 2014 Touring MT with Sport and Nav for $37,739. Price included trucking it over 500 miles from Illinois to Minnesota. The dealer even trucked it 90 miles each way from his place to my garage and took the 2011 Z away. The new one is sitting in my garage with 4 miles on it. We did the paperwork at my kitchen table. It was like ordering a pizza. Sweet deal.

In a previous post, someone mentioned that you could get that exact model for $36,500 including tax in California. I have called many dealerships, and nobody will even approach that price. I am hopeful someone will direct all of us to a salesperson/dealership that can offer that price or something close to it, although I realize that it would represent a gigantic discount and may not be realistic. |

The residuals on Z leases these days are lower ($19,000). I'll pay more per month, but the gamble is that that car with 15,000 miles will be worth more than $19,000 in 3 years. If it is, I can buy it and keep it or re-sell it. |
