So i went to sign some papers today to pick up my car and they ended up not having it at that dealership... bs, i know, but at least i didn't sign anything and they said to come back monday and the car will be there.
Heres the deal, on the way back my dad was driving my 07 F-150 sport which i was planning to keep as a second car, and he kits a pretty deep puddle in the middle lane going 70 or so on SR 7 and we spun a few times, hit the curb sideways, almost fliped, hit a few palm trees, crossed to the other side of the road, and NOBODY DIED! I didn't take pictures because its pouring like crazy, but my brother might have snaped a few with his iphone. The wheel that first hit the curb actually broke off and flew very very far away, not to get into more details, the cars probably a total loss... what a year this has been... R.I.P.

If you have a more than 30 min drive back - I would stop every 30-40 mins to let the engine cool down (maybe wait about 15-20 mins each time) ... this is a good way to read the manual and learn about your car as you are waiting...
Its not good to run a new engine for extended amounts of time... also make sure you vary the RPM a LOT! |
